This paper focuses on the computer simulation model and performance analysis of a new high power factor three-phase AC-DC current injection hybrid resonant converter. This paper consists of two main sections; first system design and modeling, second performance evaluation of the proposed system. The paper models the new topology of three-phase AC-DC current injection using series-parallel (hybrid) configurations of resonant converter in order to obtain high power factor and low total harmonics distortion (THD) level of the input current waveform, and uses the simulation method to evaluate the performance of the overall system. A high power factor is achieved by injecting high-frequency currents into the three-phase diode bridge rectifier, producing a high frequency modulation of the rectifier input voltages.
