Implementing e-learning in a country like Egypt, with over 80 million, needs clear understanding of the Egyptian students' characteristics, perception, and cultural aspects. E-learning can serve a great number of students regardless of the class capacity; a fact that highlighted the role of and the necessity for e-learning as it can serve a great number of students regardless of the class capacity specially in Egypt where the large number of students per class and limited number of universities available in higher education is a major problem.
