With the proliferation of IoT infrastructures, humans live in an environment that is surrounded by various wireless facilities which provide rich information about the human body and activities. Generally, by extracting and analyzing information carried by the wireless signals transmitted between a pair of antennas from the wireless devices, we can infer the activities of a person whose activities would make changes to the transmission pattern of the wireless signals. This wireless sensing technique not only overcomes the technical challenges faced by traditional camera-based solutions, such as bad lighting, occlusions, and privacy issues, but also exempts the monitored subjects from the extra burden and discomfort caused by the dedicated wearable devices.
