A Call for Paper, an Opportunity for Improving Research Page 1 214 We are pleased to inaugurate the “Focus on Emergencies” section. Starting in this number, European Review for Medical and Pharmacology Sciences Journal will publish articles regarding Emergency Medicine (EM) in a dedicated section. In the overcrowding era, EM Doctors are called to diagnose and treat complex diseases and interface with all other medical and surgical specialties in order to improve patient’s outcome and following treatment. On the other hand, all other specialists need to understand the unique environment and population presenting to the Emergency Room. For this reasons, Focus on Emergencies will select articles on disease process and treatment of common complaints encountered in the EM practice.
