Methods of image encryption based on chaos maps are very useful and effective to provide information security. Based on mixed chaos maps, a novel image encoding method has been introduced. A novel procedure for PRN (known as Pseudo Random Number) generation taking the mixed chaotic Henon-Logistic-Tent map has been introduced, where the two dimensional henon chaos map, logistic chaos map, and tent chaos maps, are taken together to create unique integer sequences. These are xored to create the secret key. A grayscale image of size is converted to encoded image using the operation of xor with the value of the secret_key. In decryption phase, the encoded picture is also xored with the same key to get the original picture.
