Children and teenager sexual exploitation is a kind of sexual rights violation which involve symbolic and/or concrete exchanges between an adult and a person who is below 18 years old. Considered crime in Brazil, the topic has been on the pages of newspapers throughout the last decades, either because of the efforts made by the social movements that defend the human rights or because journalists have deepened the comprehension of the term. What is the speech (or speeches) about sexual exploitation that is highlighted through the press discourse? This paper presents some of the results of analysis the speeches the printed media discourses in Mato Grosso do Sul using as its corpus news, editorials and articles published in three newspapers during 2009. The study is based theoretically and methodologically on the discourse analysis from French School.
