The aim of this chapter is to understand the commonly agreed factors or elements that contribute and ensure quality in the Web-Based Learning (WBL). There is no single checklist by which to design or evaluate this quality. The chapter covers the issues of WBL production; methods of improving quality WBL; WBL quality metrics; online education standards; and WBL quality measurement through benchmarking and peer review.
