In today's world of fast paced busy life, home monitoring and security is one of the major important issues. Every one of us would check our stoves, LPG cylinders and Door locks at least twice before leaving our homes. This is the most common scenario in every household. A reliable home safety and monitoring system is the need of the hour today. With a proper system in place to monitor one's home, we can set our minds with less stress and worry to better focus on other tasks. In this paper, we have explained an easy and an efficient method of building a home monitoring system using sensors and hybrid tech of IoT and GSM. We use sensors for measuring the surrounding temperature and humidity, gas sensors for the detection of gas leakage, ultrasonic sensors for the detection of movement near the doors.
