Digital picture alteration may be malevolent, enjoyable, informative, or propaganda. The ability to identify and prevent digital picture fraud is essential to the dependability of visual data in the digital age. In this article, we discuss the many forms of Digital Image Forgery, its origins, the image forging life cycle, and its stages. Here, we compare several methods of image forgery in an effort to assist upcoming researchers.
