Textile Reinforced concrete (TRC) is an innovative composite material that can be used in building facades due to its superior properties. Textiles (glass, carbon, basalt) are used as the internal reinforcements in a thin concrete matrix to form TRC. Corrosion resistance properties of the textile leads to low TRC thickness compared to steel reinforced concrete. Fire resistance of TRC will lead to resist the spread of fire in case where TRC is used as building facades. Very High Strength Concrete (VHSC) can be used as the concrete matrix to form Very High Strength Textile Reinforced Concrete (VHSTRC) to have high strength to weight ratio and high durability performance. In this paper, it was discussed the effect of number of textile layers per VHSTRC samples and elevated temperature exposure on flexural behaviour of VHSTRC specimens.
