简介
Nowadays, in the world of the Internet-enabled hypermedia the role and activity of influencers, opinion leaders are getting more and more important. The authors’ research is aimed at demonstrating the three-stage approach in PLS structural equation modelling when at least one second-order composite is included in the model besides first-order constructs. The scientific significance of the study lies, firstly, in identifying a new role of opinion forwarding (in addition to opinion giving and opinion seeking), and secondly in defining online opinion leadership as a composite of these three behaviour dimensions. This facilitates easier modelling and understanding, increases clarity and implies that all three components (behaviour dimensions) have to be included when an actor can be described with opinion leadership activity. The suggested model relations underpinning the analysis prove that online opinion leadership is a result of personal susceptibility to informational influence and it has a positive effect on online recommendation intention in a given online purchase situation.
