Good marketing with entrepreneurship will help build smart cities across the country to create efficiency in the welfare of their citizens using technology-based development. This study aims to examine the existing literature and research on marketing in the smart city. PRISMA guidelines were adopted in this study to conduct and report a systematic literature review. Based on a systematic search of the Scopus database, a total of 21 reviewed articles were included which were carefully selected for an in-depth analysis of the interrelated concept of smart city and marketing. The results show that there have been several publications on marketing in the smart city from a multilevel, industry, and perspective analysis. The top research country was Italy and the most widely used multilevel analysis was the individual level.
