Bibliometrics has developed into a prominent research field that provides way for evaluating and benchmarking research performance. Bibliometrics can also be used to assess the output and scholarly impact of an individual author’s research. Authorship of a scientific or scholarly paper should be limited to those individuals who have contributed in a meaningful and substantive way to its intellectual content. Determination of Authorship roles are often complex, delicate and potentially controversial. The challenges around defining Authorship is to move towards a Contributorship model.
The main motive of this project is to build the Author Profile Model (APM) by analysing Author-Level Metrics (ALMETRICS), Stylometrics and Contribution.
