As Opportunistic network refer to a number of wireless nodes opportunistically communicating with each other in the form of “store-carry-forward” paradigm. There is no proper network infrastructure so to keep network safe, there should be a process to register nodes and authenticated them to communicate with each other. In this paper, we propose an authentication mechanism using trust framework for opportunistic networks. It is applied for the short term and limited wireless network environment, and super node is set to manage node registration and provide authorization to other authenticated nodes to register unauthentic nodes (new node). The proposal implements some trust framework which provide trust of authenticate nodes to super node, so that it can authorize authentic node to register new node, same as super node does.
