The Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) is considered as the main cause of nonlinearity affecting the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Hence, this paper, focus on developing a new strategy of PAPR reduction and specifically concentrates on selective mapping (SLM) technique because it is proved to be one of the most efficient approaches. In this context, two phases sequences for SLM such as rows of normalized Riemann matrix (RM) and diagonal elements of the modified RM are applied. Afterward, new phase factors using the rows of the symmetric Toeplitz matrix is proposed. The evaluation is conducted using as measure of the complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) to check the performances of the proposed approach.
