简介
The construction sector is characterized by dynamic and perilous conditions, demanding innovative strategies to bolster worker safety. This research delves into the incorporation of cutting-edge wearable technologies as a proactive measure to tailor safety protocols for construction sites. Focused on risk mitigation and overall safety enhancement, this investigation assesses the efficacy of various advanced wearable devices. The study commences by scrutinizing the role of intelligent helmets equipped with augmented reality (AR) technology. These helmets furnish real-time data about the construction site, delivering critical information to workers, including potential hazards, emergency exits, and equipment statuses. The integration of AR heightens situational awareness, empowering workers to make well-informed decisions and respond promptly to changing conditions. Beyond smart helmets, the research explores the implementation of wearable sensors designed to monitor the physiological parameters of construction workers. Capable of measuring vital signs such as heart rate, body temperature, and fatigue levels, these sensors enable continuous assessment of worker health. The data generated can be analyzed to identify patterns and trends, facilitating the implementation of preventive measures to address health-related risks. Additionally, the study delves into the adoption of exoskeletons as wearable devices to enhance human capabilities and diminish the risk of musculoskeletal injuries. These exoskeletons provide ergonomic support, particularly during tasks involving heavy lifting or repetitive motions. By assisting workers in …
