Segmentation of brain tumor is a process of identifying the cancerous brain tissues. Manual segmentation of brain tumor from MR Image is time-consuming, and there is a need for fast and accurate brain tumor segmentation. Hence, we have proposed notch linear transformation to enhance and deep learning-based hybrid SegX-Net method for segmentation of brain tumors from MR images. The proposed method is evaluated on the BRATS-2019 dataset, and the results are obtained for segmentation with accuracy: 0.98, precision: 0.97, recall: 0.91 F1-Score: 0.89.
