Skin cancer is a disease that affects numerous people all over the world annually. It is the UK's most frequently diagnosed cancer. If not treated timely, malignant skin cancer, such as melanoma, can be extremely dangerous and even fatal as the cancer may spread to organs that are vital. Melanoma accounts for 4% of the new cancer cases diagnosed in the UK annually. This figure keeps on increasing every year. This paper proposes a classification framework using the innovations made in deep learning. This can be of great benefit to places where medical resources are minimal. For their diagnosis, it can be of great help to doctors and can give them a better chance in providing the patients with appropriate treatment.
