In the current epoch, the Internet of Things (IoT) can be reflected as an important technological revolution related to evolution of smart cities, smart homes, IoT-controlled factories, and IoT for logistics in seaports implementations. With the existence of smart sensing systems in seaports becoming a reality today, different sectors in seaports are working toward a programmed mode. Some of the eye-opening projects related to smart seaports in the IoT era can be found all over the globe.
