In this paper, we deal with the Shift Design Personal Task Scheduling Problem (SDPTSP) introduced in [1]. This problem arises in a real industrial case-study and can be described as follow: a set of fixed medical tasks has to be performed by a set of employees according to availabilities and skills requirements. Add to this, employees may have different targeted load to achieve, so the amont of work to assign is different for each employee. The set of fixed tasks always has to be assigned to workers into a weekly timetable that respects legal and organisational constraints. The aim is to build employees’ timetable in order to minimize the number of unassigned tasks, that will lead to externals’ hiring. Then, if possible, among all the solutions that minimize this number of unassigned tasks, the decision maker is interested in maximizing the fairness between employees.
