Glass is available in a wide range of shapes and chemical characteristics. It is frequently found in house windows or doors, kitchen utensils, and automobiles or vehicles. Glass properties, especially the index of refraction, are influenced by the glass's composition and treatment. Numerous classification techniques were being used to investigate the compositional and refractive index values of these samples in order to identify groups of similar samples, and some of these groups were linked to products or compositions from manufacturers. In forensic investigations, glass fragments are investigated to determine whether the glass fragments obtained from an individual are window glass or non-window glass.With this overview, this project aims to perform the glass type classification by using the Glass type dataset retrieved from UCI machine learning repository.
