简介
An experiment was conducted to study the effect of 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 and 120 t ha-1 of fly ash application to black soil on biological yield performance of sunflower. The treatment received fly ash @ 60 t ha-1 showed significant superiority in respect of number of functional leaves (6.55), maximum plant height (140.50 cm) and head diameter (16.60 cm) which led to significantly highest seed yield (6.54 q ha-1), straw yield (12.51 q ha-1) and oil content in seeds of sunflower (36%). The same treatment showed significantly highest content and uptake of NPK in seed and straw of the sunflower, which was 3.72, 0.25,1.10 per cent in seed and 1.48, 0.29, 1.54 per cent in straw, respectively. The maximum content of available Mn, Zn, Cu and Fe in seed and straw was also recorded in the treatment of incorporation of fly ash 60 t ha-1 in black soil.
