This chapter extends the blind equalization capability of cosine modulated multitone (CMT) to massive multi‐input multi‐output (MIMO) applications in order to remove the channel estimation errors caused by contaminated pilots. Based on observations of numerical results, the proposed blind equalization technique is able to remove pilot contamination effects in multicellular massive MIMO networks and converge towards the optimal linear minimum mean square error (MMSE) performance. The chapter dedicates to the system model and formulation of filter bank multi‐carrier (FBMC) in massive MIMO channels. It presents a qualitative comparison of FBMC and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) in massive MIMO systems.
