Over the past three decades, the concern for sustainability has risen among governments and policymakers. There are ample solutions projected and recommended and, among these solutions, the concept of triple bottom line involving the economy, environment, and society gave potential answers to such problems. Ecological awareness has created a cluster of people showing concern for the environment and who believe that the ongoing practices by policymakers do not address their concerns. Besides, some populist movements pose a detrimental impact on some climate policies, for instance, the opposition to taxes related to environmental sustainability.
