Recent developments in the wireless technology has made the communication more familiar and reachable to all peoples. In one way the demand for mobile communication needs the integration of wireless networks into the existing fixed network like local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) etc., Otherwise we can say that, it needs advancements, adaptability and compatibility over the mobile services provided by various mobile generation technologies like 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G. In this paper we deeply discuss about the growth of Mobile generation technologies from 1st Generation to 5th Generation. And this paper gives an idea about how these technologies are operating and providing increased performance over the earlier generation and their merits and applications.
