Most current applications of Big Data focus on examining consumer preferences and feedback expressed through social media and legitimate websites. Data is generated by all parties involved in the company, including mobile device location data and data created by machines with high-tech sensors, automated controls, and relevant software. We are currently living through an Internet revolution fueled by Big Data following the Industrial and Internet revolutions.
