Industrial SITE SELECTION is a complicated decision and is related to various factors, so it is kind of MULTI-CRITERIA DECISION ANALYSIS which is used for prioritizing different factors and selecting the best alternative among possible alternatives. In fact by scientific SITE SELECTION, it is possible to minimize negative impacts of industrial construction and going towards sustainable development. In this study, industrial SITE SELECTION in 50 Km radius around Isfahan city is considered, using MULTI-CRITERIA DECISION ANALYSIS in a GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM environment. At first by literature review and obtaining standards, industrial SITE SELECTION criteria are defined. Selection criteria are distance to water bodies, slope, distance to cities, distance to roads and railways, protected area, distance to other industries, ground water depth, distance to water supplies, distance to faults current land use. Then all criteria maps are entered to GIS with same format and standardized. In next stage, RATING METHOD is used for criteria weights determination. Finally all criteria layers are aggregated by WEIGHTED LINEAR COMBINATION. After the elimination of sites which do not have enough area for industries, 4 suitable patches for industrial construction are found.
