The Internet of Things (IoT) has experienced rapid growth, necessitating the implementation of robust authentication methods for secure and reliable communication within IoT networks. With new challenges introduced via IoT, such as limited computational power, rapid deployment, and non-standardized authentication methods, conventional approaches used for authenticating users or systems face significant challenges when applied in the context of the IoT. In the IoT domain, there are several unique authentication approaches that have been proposed in recent years, including QR code-based authentication, P2P blockchain authentication, and multi-layer authentication.
