This paper presents the design, implementation, and testing of a portable electrochemical measurement platform that can perform amperometric, voltametric, and impedance measurements required by different wearable-flexible sweat sensors. These sensors are gaining increasing interest in the domain of healthcare monitoring due to their advantages including low-cost, high sensitivity, and non-invasive operation. The proposed platform is composed of a high-sensitivity Electrochemical Front End (EFE) controlled by a low-power microcontroller (MCU) which is suitable for long-lasting Internet-of-Things (IoT) enabled applications. The implemented prototype provides real-time continuous electrochemical measurements of a novel screen-printed sweat sensor composed of a flexible substrate with several transducing elements targeting different sweat components; Na + , K + , pH, and lactate enzyme.
