There is a great deal of dissatisfaction with sizing, among other attributes, of ladies' pants (Ashdown , Anderson et al. , Brown and Rice , Kinley , Devarajan et al. ). A quasi-experimental study was done to determine whether there was a significant difference in measurements of nine different brands of ladies' low-rise pants found in some retail establishments in Swaziland. Five different size categories were chosen and measurements taken at five different measurement points of the different brands. The research found overall differences in means of measurements, although not significant within the different size categories, but quite evident within the measurement points. It could therefore be concluded that the variation in same size category of ladies' pants at different measurement points across different brands does exist, given the nuances in size chart measurements that manufacturers use.
