简介
In this study, the significant difference between the demographic characteristics of tourists visiting Turkey and their pull travel motivation factors is examined. Within the scope of the research, tourists traveling to Turkey from abroad between June 2021 and September 2021 constitute the population. Since it was not possible to reach the entire population in terms of time, cost and visitors, sampling was preferred. In the study, a total of 234 tourists were asked to fill out a questionnaire form using the convenience sampling method. The pull travel motivation scale was used in the research. cultural heritage, events & festivals and natural heritage were examined as three sub-factors. Since the data showed normal distribution during the data analysis process, independent-samples t-test and one-way Anova analysis were used. According to the results of the research, while there was no significant difference between the gender of the tourists and the pull travel motivation factors, a significant difference was found between scales and tourists’ marital status. The pull travel motivations of married people were higher than singles. In addition, the motivation of tourists aged 65 and over was lower than other age groups. Those with a very low-income perception from tourists have lower pull travel motivations than those with a medium and very high-income perception. However, no statistically significant difference was found between the education of the tourists and the pull travel motivation factors.
