DISCUSSION:
In conclusion, the clinical importance of sarcina has been debatable. Cases has been reported in the past with association of sarcina with gastric adenocarcinoma. It is debatable whether sarcina has some clinical implications and association in patients with adenocarcinoma, whether it is just a bystander colonizer or if it is of clinical importance in determining prognosis and clinical course.
