Aujla, FOUAD MOAWAD, Alexander Hooper Introduction: Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic type 2 inflammatory disease that progresses to fibrostenosis of the esophagus if left untreated. The fibrostenotic changes can be appreciated by the force required to take esophageal biopsies called the †œtug sign. †Quantitative measures have been previously reported in adult and pediatric EoE patients. We seek to identify the quantifiable difference in force in EoE patients before and after treatment.
