Results

Figure 1 (a) shows x-ray diffraction results obtained from the wires with three strains, ϵ= 0 (as-patented), ϵ= 3.6 and ϵ= 5.1. The intensity is normalized with the 011 peak from each specimen. The as-patented specimen show clear peaks corresponding to the diffractions from cementite phase.
