Design and optimization of logistics and supply chain management (SCM) network is very important issue, which plans, implements and controls the efficient, effective forward and reverse flow and storage of goods, services and related information between the point of origin and the point of consumption to meet customers’ requirements. A multistage based logistics or SCM network can be modeled by means of a sequence of stages, each consisting of a set of functions, i.e. the existing or potential facilities located in several countries or regions of the world where goods are transformed or manufactured or stocked and delivered: suppliers, plants, distribution centers (DCs) and customers.
