Internet of Things technology (IoT) is a fast-growing area of computing, and it is applicable to almost all human endeavor. The introduction of IoT into medicine brought about the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) that has really redefined the smart healthcare systems globally, though its apprehension to security threats and risk especially in the field of medicine is second to none. Though it is very challenging to provide a secured expansion using the sensor in the medical domain but the impart of the IoMT-based system can never be denied and was greatly deployed in various countries accordant with available facilities to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
