Ensuring the safety and comfort of the environment is one of the most urgent problems of modern science is the subject of this article. The solution to this problem is based on the use of modern technologies for monitoring objects that affect the properties. This approach implements the concept of integrated monitoring objects based on their information phenomenological models. It is shown that the choice as a main indicator for monitoring the so-called “information entropy” to successfully assess the current state of complex objects and systems. The specifics of the objects is taken into account by selecting the monitoring set of parameters that are correlated with the information entropy of the system as a whole and its individual components.
