The purpose of the study was to explore the attitude of publishers and depository library to the implementation of depository law. It also investigated the issues which are important in implementing, monitoring and management of legal deposit. A sample of 100 respondents from publishers of two big cities of Punjab (Lahore and Rawalpindi) and 4 respondents from depository library was chosen through convenience sampling for this study and data was collected through semi structured interview. It contained both close-ended and open-ended questions. Principles of coding with open ended questions were applied to organize the replies of respondents into different groups or categories that identify and bind the appropriate topics.
