The World Health Organization (WHO) officially announced the pandemic status of the recent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) On March 11, 2020. Beyond the disease and it is complications for infected patients, this pandemic outbreak has a huge psychological impact in uninfected individuals. Recent studies during the COVID-19 outbreak in China have shown a high burden of various psychological symptoms among uninfected individuals. In an online investigation in 194 cities in China, Wang et al.[1] found that moderate-tosevere psychological symptoms were prevalent among more than half of the respondents (54%). Indeed, prevalence of moderate-to-severe anxiety, moderate-to-severe depression, and moderate to severe stress were 28.8%, 16.5%, and 8.1%, respectively.
