This study employed the two Generative AI tools (GAI), GPT-4, and Gemini’s views of the nature of science. It is important to note the philosophical and historical views of these tools, as they are already in use by both science teachers and students. The benchmark was teachers and pre-service teachers. Therefore, the study adopted the Form-C of Lederman et al.'s (2002) instrument to prompt these GAI tools. The responses were then condensed and summarized, focusing on the key aspects of the questionnaire based on the VNOS. The analysis used Lederman’s analysis as per the Form-C questionnaire. The findings proved that both ChatGPT-4 and Gemini have an informed view of the nature of science.
