简介
A complete mechanism for tolerating multiple failures is described in this paper. This mechanism can be applied to different topologies either regular or irregular and deals with any number of failures regardless of their distribution on the network. This mechanism operates on the basis of a dynamic network reconfiguration in response to failures. Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is employed as a distance vector protocol to reconfigure the network after failures.
