In this paper, the use of (kappa)-deformed Kaniadakis distribution is made in the context of arbitrary dust ion acoustic solitary waves (DIASWs) in an unmagnetized plasma wherein the ions are modeled as cold inertial fluid, the electrons are non-Maxwellian satisfying Kaniadakis distribution, while the dust components are assumed stationary in the background. The basic equations governing the criteria for existence and the dynamical features of DIASWs are reduced to an energy-balance-like equation through the use of the arbitrary amplitude technique. The numerical analysis reveals that the existence domain and characteristic behavior of DIASWs depend sensitively on the deformation parameter and dust concentration . Particular emphasis is given to the coexistence of positive and negative potential DIASWs, manifested by their respective distinct ambipolar electric field profiles. It is pointed out that the …
