Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communications have recently drawn great attention. To analyze and optimize the UAV communication systems, accurate and efficient UAV channel models are essential. Most existing UAV channel models are based on the assumption that both transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) have fixed velocity and moving direction. However, in the realistic communication scenarios, the Tx and Rx of UAV may experience changes in both speeds and trajectories. In this paper, a three-dimensional (3D) non-stationary geometry-based stochastic model (GBSM) is proposed for air-to-air (A2A) channels in UAV communication scenarios. A 3D Markov mobility model is used to characterize the movements of the UAV in both horizontal and vertical directions.
