This paper presents a new design approach for a discrete-time system affected by norm bounded disturbance. To guarantee finite time H∞ boundedness (FTB-H∞) of the closed-loop system, the determination of reduced order H∞ controller parameters over finite time interval is discussed. Based on the solution of algebraic equations obtained from the unbiasedness conditions of the estimation error, sufficient conditions are given in this paper to design H∞ reduced order controller. At the end of this paper, there is a numerical example to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
