简介
Mobility is known as one of the most important aspects of human behavior and is heavily studied in varying scopes ranging from bodily mobility (with a focus on health) and individual mobility (general mobility patterns usually in space and time) to more socially malleable aspects of mobility (eg, how people move in pairs or groups). Understanding human mobility is of interest to multitude of scientific and engineering disciplines such as designing mobile networks and services (eg, Vehicular Adhoc Networking, Vehicular Crowd Sourcing and Participatory Sensing, Autonomous Driving Systems, etc.) or transportation and urban planning (eg, smart cities, congestion mitigation, safety, etc.) as well as the interdisciplinary areas such as Transportation Networks.
