The 2022 Scott Helt Memorial Award was awarded to Federica Rinaldi, Helka-Liina Määttänen, Johan Torsner, Sara Pizzi, Sergey Andreev, Antonio Iera, Yevgeni Koucheryavy, and Giuseppe Araniti for their paper, “Broadcasting Services Over 5G NR Enabled Multi-Beam Non-Terrestrial Networks.” The papers appeared in the IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, vol. 67, no. 1, pp. 33–45, March 2021. The purpose of the IEEE Scott Helt Memorial Award is to recognize exceptional publications in the field and to stimulate interest in and encourage contributions to the fields of interest of the Society.
