Today, mobile devices are resource-constrained in terms of energy consumption, processing power and storage capacity such as memory. Cyber foraging is a method for dynamically and opportunistically augmenting the computational resources of wireless mobile devices, by exploiting available resources in the nearby infrastructure, which are then called surrogates [1, 2]. Cyber foraging assist in decreasing the total cost, ie the energy consumption and the response times, in the application and in system-wide. Challenges in cyber foraging include [1, 2]: system support, surrogate discovery, fluctuating resource availability, load balancing in surrogates, fidelity, finding the application-specific optimal partitioning and changing communication network conditions.
