As per the reports of United Nations World Tourism Organization, the arrival of international tourists (overnight visitors) grew 5% in the first three quarters of 2018 compared to the same period in 2017, reflecting strong global economic growth. The robust growth in the first three-quarters of the year was enjoyed by all world regions including Asia and the Pacific with arrivals increasing by 7%, Europe and the Middle East by 6%, Africa by 5%, and America by 3%.
