The growth and diffusion of online social media have been enormously increased in recent years, as well as the research and commercial interests toward these rising sources of information as a direct public expression of the communities. Moreover, the depth and the quality of data that can be harvested by monitoring and analysis tools have evolved significantly. In particular, Twitter has revealed to be one of the most widespread microblogging services for instantly publishing and sharing opinions, feedbacks, ratings etc., contributing in the development of the emerging role of users as sensors.
