In this study, the relationship between touristic destination risk perception, which expresses the risks perceived by people towards the destination, and self-efficacy, which expresses people's belief in their own skills and abilities, was examined. The population of the research consists of the citizens of the Republic of Turkey residing in Turkey. The province of Van was chosen as the research area because of the thought that Van province is an important tourism destination with natural and cultural attractions and that the risk perception towards Van may be high. In the study, data were collected by the questionnaire technique, which is one of the quantitative research methods.
